Asobit Opening Special PM Fukuda Corner

On September 2nd, one day after the announcement of the sudden resignation of Japan's Prime Minister Fukuda Asobit created a special corner in their store selling Fukuda themed sweets and snacks created by food maker Daito. The banner on top uses a line that became famous on 2 channel boards and that was directed at japanese scandal hungry press: "You and I are different."This appears to become a tradition for Asobit as they created a similar stand when japanese former Prime Minister Abe resigned in September 2007.According to Asobit Staff sales have increased by a 7.5 ration. However, as many expect the known Manga and Akiba lover Aso Taro to take part and possibly win the next elections for Prime Minister his products have been as well respectively rising in demand by a 3.5 ratio. Seeing that timing is vital for sale events like this it is probably safe to assume that we will see more happenings like this in the future. Possibly during the next PM elections. To read the japanese version of this entry please visit our partnerAkiba Keizai ShimbunTsundere Childhood-Friend Serving "Oden Ramen (Akiba Today)Asobit (Japanese)
